Volkswagen Golf VI - the sixth generation of the Volkswagen Golf passenger car produced by the German automotive concern Volkswagen AG from 2008 to 2013. The car was officially presented for the first time during the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The sixth generation of the vehicle was presented two years earlier than expected. This was due to the fact that Golf V did not meet the expectations of customers and the management of Volkswagen. The car is actually a modernized fifth generation of the vehicle.
